Once you sign the contract for your home, we will send you a Buildertrend Activation email so you can set up your account on our customer portal. This software will allow you to make selections for your home, send us messages, and view the progress being made. You can access your account online or through the app.
Once you are logged in, go to the Project Management tab at the top left-hand side of the page and click on Selections. On this page, you will see all of your selected categories. All the categories with a green checkmark are either standard items that come with your home or items that have already been ordered. All of the categories with a yellow, pending icon still need to be chosen. The options that are available to you are listed below each category. Once you have decided on what choice you would like to go with, click on the green checkmark to approve. You will notice that the paint color categories have an Add More Choices button. This will allow you to manually add the selection that you want. When adding these, please specify the desired location for each color. Our painter uses Sherwin Williams paint but if you like a color from a different brand, he can color match it.
If there are any upgrades you would like to make to your home, please send us a list of everything so we can price each item. All upgraded items require payment upfront. Once we have a price, we will submit these to you in a change order. You can find these by going to the Project Management tab at the top left-hand side of the page and click on Change Orders. Here you will have access to view the price for each upgrade and will have the option to approve or decline the change order. Once you have approved the items that you want to upgrade, please deliver the payment to your agent and we will proceed with the changes.

This app allows us to upload photos of the progress being made on your home. You can access these photos either on your home page or by going to the Files tab at the top left-hand side of the page and click on Photos. We try to keep these updated once or twice a week.
Once it is time for your warranty work to be completed, you will be able to submit your request online or through the app. Once you go to the Project Management tab at the top left-hand side of the page, click on Warranty. Here you will fill out your warranty claim with a description and a photo so we can get these items taken care of.
